What’s on in adelaide this weekend 6th October 2017

Another great weekend coming up in Adelaide. The final week of Ozasia festival is upon us with a wide range of entertainment available. The Oktoberfest festival is hitting the Wayville Showgrounds and a wide range of concerts and shows are on.

The final weekend is upon us, with a range of things to do, including the Lucky Dumpling Marketfeaturing many dishes, and entertainment such as DJ’s and bands, on the Adelaide Riverbank Lawns.


Wayville Showgrounds

Oktoberfest is on between 2pm and 10pm on Saturday and there are still tickets available. Make sure you don’t miss out on this great event, and enjoy the German themed festival.



Whole Life Expo(Saturday/Sunday) and the World Travel and Cruise Expo (Sunday) are also featuring at the showground during the weekend.


Port Elliot show

For those looking for a break from Adelaide, The Port Elliot Show is back and you can enjoy the festivities on both Saturday and Sunday.

Live Performances

Bernard Fanning at the Gov

On both Friday and Saturday night Bernard Fanning will be at the Gov for his Brutal Dawn Tour. Both Nights are sold out unfortunately.

The New Dead VIII

All ages Metal show at Fowlers Live from midday to midnight.


Grease – The arena Experience

The Entertainment Centre features the world’s largest production of Grease. There are still tickets available for both the Friday evening show and the Saturday Matinee session.



City Of Playford CBD Plaza Opening with the ASO

The much anticipated launch of the Playford CBD Plaza features The Australian Symphony Orchestra at a free event on Friday eventing from 6:30pm
