The Clipsal 500 Adelaide V8 Supercar event is an adrenalin-charged motor race held in Adelaide every year.

It's round one V8 Supercar Championship Series and according to motor racing's legendary Murray Walker, it's the greatest touring car event in the world. It's the Clipsal 500 on Adelaide's internationally acclaimed street circuit.

Four days of V8 Supercar action, extreme machines, V8 utes, grid girls, on-track stunts, spectacular air shows, motoring displays and the best support race program in the nation.

And there are more great reasons to be at Clipsal 500 - four massive after-race concerts. In 2008, legendary guitarist Santana, plus leading Australian acts Powderfinger, Sneaky Sound System and more were on the concert bill.

In 2008, race crowds totalled 291,400 - cementing Clipsal's position as the biggest touring car event in the world. This is one motorsports carnival you don't want to miss.
