After all that, you might just have time to relax with some golf on South Australia's pristine golf greens.

Barossa is a one-hour drive north east of Adelaide. Take the picturesque route through the Adelaide Hills, via Chain of Ponds and Kersbrook to arrive at Williamstown. Just outside of the town is the Barossa Reservoir with its engineering feat, the Whispering Wall. The wall has a remarkable acoustic phenomenon: messages whispered at one end can be heard clearly at the other end, 140 metres away!

Travel from Melbourne to Port Fairy along the Great Ocean Road. The drive winds its way between the coastal towns of Lorne, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell and Warrnambool. It reveals some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in Australia, especially near Port Campbell. Look out for the famous Twelve Apostles - huge sandstone pinnacles that rise from the surf near the coastline.

Stay the night in Port Fairy or Warrnambool.
